Here are a few guidelines on how to recognize, treat and prevent external hemorrhoids when possible.
Treating And Preventing External Hemorrhoids
There are many ways in which you can treat external hemorrhoids successfully in order to provide immediate relief out of which some are: medicated wipes that can be applied locally as well as creams and ointment, herbal treatments and daily baths, which will calm the veins and the pain. You can also remove the hemorrhoids through different types of surgeries if necessary and indicated by your doctor. While most of these medications can be found in all drug stores and/or pharmacies, it is indicated you check with your doctor first in order to ensure that you are suffering from hemorrhoids and most any other disorder with similar symptoms.
Preventing of internal or external hemorrhoids can be done by ensuring that you have a fiber rich diet, don’t strain yourself during the bowel movement, try and get into positions that don’t strain your rectal area during bowel movement (the squat position is suggested to be one of the best for the minimum strain in the rectum), drink water and exercise, which will also improve your metabolism and keep you away from disorders such as constipation. You will feel a lot better once these issues have been resolved.
